The design is drawn from symbolic and artistic elements in Apache beadwork, leatherwork and basketry. According to research of the Arizona Historical Society, 1821 is believed to be the year of Geronimo's birth. This blanket is done in conjunction with the Arizona Historical Society which has an exhibit entitled "Geronimo and the Chiricahua Apache Experience". 82% pure virgin wool/ 18% cotton.
